Health Our group distributes clothes, food, financial assistance, wheelchairs, crutches, commodes, etc in order to best satisfy the needs we welcome all donations to share with those in need.
Health is not only the absence of diseases but also the mental, physical and spiritual well being of a person. Over the years many of the people UMG served are not ill but due to a disease however they seek our assistance with their basic personal needs
United Mission of Goodwill Inc. is an emerging organization based in the United states with registration in Jamaica West Indies. This organization has been in operation since 2012, it became incorporated in 2013 and has received tax exemption status under 501 c 3 code of the IRS code in 2014.
The group consists of qualified, experienced, board certified healthcare professionals with general and specialized training and skills. Annually these volunteers commit time, expertise and finances to provide FREE lifesaving medical, surgical, dental and other services to families in underdeveloped and developing communities where these services are unavailable, unaffordable and invaluable. Our quests to serve are influenced by those who have paved the path for mission through vision, inspiration and determination. Our members and volunteers are inspired by personal challenges and sometimes tragedies and are committed to turn these experiences into service.
UMG embraces principles that are based on trust, loyalty, service, honesty and excellence. Its members will continue to build relationships with individuals and organizations that can assist with the resources necessary to successfully conduct these missions. The emphasis of service is not limited to point of care but extends to local healthcare facilities and schools through donation of equipment, personal and medical supplies. These added efforts create sustainable solutions that reduce the waiting periods for basic health services.
UMG believes in God and the power of giving and sharing. It reminds us that service to the poor is more powerful than possession or success. As the divide tends to widen between the haves and the have nots we are encouraged by the words in Matthew 25:40 “And the King shall say unto them, verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done unto one of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
Collectively our goal is to continue Gods will and share His blessings among those who are less fortunate. In our quest to share these blessings we are encouraged to reach one, treat one, and teach one.
